Cruella Surprises Both Don and Will on the 12th Episode of Cinephile Hissy Fit!

Sometimes we at The Cinephile Hissy Fit Podcast just can’t get mad at each other. Co-hosts Don Shanahan (aka, the smart one) and Will Johnson (that’s me by the way and, uh, I’m with stupid) sometimes go and see a film and both immediately go “huh, I like that one”. In the case of Disney’s Cruella (and unlike Godzilla vs. Kong), we both decided to get along for the sake of peace and do a DOUBLE LOVE edition of the show about the future dog-skinner herself.

While we both agree the opening sequences have just a bit too much CGI and an unintentionally funny moment of death—if you know what I’m talking about, admit it, you laughed—the film’s stylish nature, dedication to period accurateness, breathtaking costume design, and deliberate musical touches, not to mention a truly game cast (led by not one but two Emmas) puts this one in the surprisingly great category that neither of us can hate.

So, without further ado, check out the twelfth episode of the show and let us know if you agree with our love-filled commentary. You can do that by following us on TwitterInstagram, and Facebook! We are very responsive on social media and will gladly answer any of your questions or debate you on things. Cinephile Hissy Fit is a 25YL production and part of the Ruminations Radio Network!
