Wizard Brands, Inc. is proud to announce that the 23rd edition of its flagship national event, Wizard World Chicago, will officially make its triumphant return on October 15-17, 2021 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. As a sign of tremendous good faith in this COVID era, all tickets purchased for the originally scheduled event in 2020, also postponed from August 2021, will be honored. Event tickets, photo ops, autograph appointments and more are available online right now at the Wizard World website.

That promotional video gives a great look at the good times to be had at Wizard World Chicago. I’ve gone myself the last two years, and it’s such a welcoming and open community experience. Other conventions really herd their people around turnstiles and over-packed aisles. Wizard World Chicago has an easygoing structure. The flow around the very approachable celebrity guests is a big plus. The layout of spacious gathering areas is very comfortable for cosplayers and fans alike, especially families. I know intend to grab a costume and get my people-watching on!

Wizard World Chicago 2021 remains the Midwest’s largest pop culture convention. Since its last live show in Cleveland in March 2020, Wizard World has conducted more than 300 virtual events via its online platforms, including celebrity Q&As, creator and director panels, fan group and expert sessions, quiz shows and more. They offer fans a wide array of programming as well as opportunities to connect with stars in their favorite genres via panels, live video chat and virtual photo ops, recorded video messages and personalized autographs. It’s wonderful to make this all happen again in-person in Chicago this week.

Celebrity Appearance Highlights

Wizard World will continue to work in conjunction with national, state and local authorities and the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center to ensure the safest convention environment possible. Details of specific requirements regarding the wearing of face masks, social distancing and other precautionary measures to be observed will be announced closer to the event. Once again, this is such a entertaining and rewarding place for fan experiences. Give them your support in the Chicago area this coming weekend!
