The Cinephile Hissy Fit Tears Up With a Group of Chicago Critics

Few types of conversation beat when you have a room full of fervent fans and selective intellectuals that you match. This was the case Ruminations Radio Network and Cinephile Hissy Fit podcast host Will Johnson was able to make a trip to Chicago this summer to visit family and sneak a little time with his podcast partner Don Shanahan. Knowing Will was in town brought out the a special collaboration, many of which were meeting Will in-person for the first time.

For their 78th episode, our two softy film critics, emotional dads, and sobbing school teachers Will Johnson and Don Shanahan welcome a special in-person collaboration episode. He and Don assembled a group of Chicago film critic friends to put some content together. Mike Crowley of 25YL and “You’ll Probably Agree” set up recordings at The Laugh Factory with us, himself, Cati Glidewell of “The Blonde in Front” and Collider freelancer Hayden Mears. This group talk covers movies that make us cry, Pass the tissues and let’s get emotional!
