There was no way the Cinephile Hissy Fit podcast, sponsored by the Ruminations Radio Network, was going to let a Marvel tentpole go by without an immediate new release episode. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives in theaters this weekend, and it counts as a unique challenge. This one is missing its dearly departed star, which made for a transitional project for the studio and team to complete and also a divisive result for loyal audiences.

For their 88th episode, two pointy-eared film critics, two war-painted dads, and two non-scientific school teachers Will Johnson and Don Shanahan burn the midnight oil straight out of the press screenings for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The thoughts are raw and so is the conversation between Will, the eternal Marvel shill, and Don, the critic feeling the superhero fatigue more and more. They’re ready for the big holiday hitter. Come for the shared challenge and tirade and stay for the mutual love and respect for the fun movies encapsulate. Enjoy our podcast!
