Interview: Actress Erin Moriarty (The Boys)

Prior to the second season of The Boys, I had the pleasure of speaking with actress Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight on the popular Amazon Prime series. When I spoke with Erin, news of the second season was just breaking and fans were in an uproar. The Boys was a genuine hit and had fans buzzing in all the best ways.

Of course, Erin Moriarty and more specifically, her character of Starlight, had fans buzzing for multiple reasons. We were at the height of the Me Too movement and the trauma that Starlight endured was still fresh on everyone’s minds. This captivating series had this extra layer of reality tossed in and Starlight – a credible character even without this experience, became that much stronger, relatable and fleshed out because of her pain.

In my exclusive interview for TV Obsessive, Erin and I spoke about a wide range of topics, including what it felt like to play a character like Starlight during the height of Me Too, not staying a victim, differences from the comic,  the show’s success, people’s excitement for the second season and so much more. The full interview can be read at this link here. Thanks as always for your support!
