Welcome back, fellow ranchers! We’re just four episodes left until the end of Season 6. I wonder what kind of hijinks our intrepid researchers will get themselves into this time! At this time, I don’t have much new information in the world of Ufology, but the heat has been turned back up on Lie Elizondo. He recently announced a new speaking tour, which, who would have guessed, has a ticket price of anywhere from 30 to 60 dollars. But hey, he’s definitely not in this for the money!! That’s enough about him. Let’s get right into this week’s episode of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch: “Darting Around.” It’s a hefty one!
Previously On
Skinwalker Ranch Command Center. 8:43 AM.
We join Dr. Travis Taylor, Erik Bard, Thomas Winteron, Kaleb Bench, and Jim Royston at the Command Center. Lunasonde Founder & CEO Jeremiah Pate joins the crew via video call. Jeremiah was on the ranch in 2022 when he flew a balloon-based radar system over the ranch. The data he collected revealed massive amounts of electromagnetic energy thousands of feet in the sky.
Jeremiah now has new, more sophisticated tools and decided to recheck the data. The updated scan of the data shows tons of electromagnetic energy around the ranch, with a peak, culmination of energy directly above The Triangle. Interestingly, the electromagnetic data at the edges, where it’s at its lowest point, shows 10 times higher readings than normal. But the data peak, directly above The Triangle, shows readings that are *checks notes* 10,000 times higher than normal. Jeremiah says the electromagnetic energy is the same amount emitted from a lightning strike.
Could this be what is interfering with the GPS data?
Heating Up
Mesa Drill Site. 12:22 PM. (Skinwalker Ranch: Darting Around.)
The team is set to monitor the drilling when Mark Construction’s Alex Swanson calls them over. They made it through a 45-inch rough spot, but not unscathed. Alex shows them the drill head, and the drill’s teeth are completely melted and worn down. These are strong, tungsten carbide teeth. Travis is flabbergasted when Alex says the drill head barely heated up during the two and a half hours it took them to get through those 45 inches.
Erik thinks they should check the spoils pit to see if they have anything of note from that 45 inches.
They meet up with archaeologist Chris Roberts at the spoils pit. Chris uses a magnetic wand and waves it over the spoils. He instantly picks up tiny magnetic shards. It’s the same metallic, NASA-like material they’ve been finding throughout the Mesa. Travis looks at one of the shards and sees that they’re layered… which means they were manufactured. That’s when Travis has a brain blast.
Could the reason that the drill head didn’t heat up be that the spacecraft-like material has such a heat capacity that it wasn’t getting hot?
Fly High
Skinwalker Ranch Command Center. 12:22 PM.
Two helicopters descend upon the ranch. One is piloted by Cameron Fugal and is occupied by his brother, ranch owner Brandon Fugal. The second is piloted by Brock Wilson and is occupied by Jeremiah Pate and his team from Lunasonde.
Jeremiah has brought one of his most advanced pieces of technology to the ranch, which can take X-rays of the ranch from above and below. This instrument is called the DART platform. DART stands for Dynamic Aerial Research Testbed. DART transmits low-frequency radar pulses down, and those pulses are reflected back into the system. With all of the sensors, they can detect anomalies in the air as well as hundreds of meters below the surface.
For this experiment, Brock will fly Helicopter 1 in a pushbroom pattern roughly 12,000 feet above the ranch. The DART will be connected by a hundred-foot cable. Cameron will fly Helicopter 2, which will have Travis and Kaleb inside. They’ll be about 1,000 feet above the ground and will fly in and out of The Bubble while using a spectrum analyzer.
Jim Royston will use his LIDAR drone at The Triangle. Erik Bard will be in the Command Center. And Sam Deriso and Brandon Fugal will be in the ARC to monitor everything.
Both helicopters start their ascent. Travis immediately gets the dreaded 1.6 GHz frequency coming directly from the center of The Triangle. Helicopter 1 gets to its designated altitude and starts broadcasting an 18 MHz signal. Neither Travis, Erik, nor Sam is receiving the 18 MHz signal. Suddenly, Jeremiah gets a notification that the DART is overheating. The payload reads over 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Helicopter 1 decides to temporarily abort the mission to troubleshoot.
In the meantime, Travis wants to figure out why they were not receiving DART’s signal. Travis has Thomas stand in the center of The Triangle, and plans to have Cameron fly directly over while emitting a signal to Thomas’s walkie-talkie. Cameron flies over Thomas, and it’s radio silence. Literally.
As Cameron flies inside The Bubble, Jim’s LIDAR drone starts to show tons of errors. But the errors go away when Cameron exits The Bubble. Cameron reenters The Bubble, and Jim’s LIDAR image goes completely black. It’s almost like The Bubble is toying with them at this point.
The DART is seemingly fixed, and Helicopter 1 heads back up to its desired altitude. Once at 12,000 feet, Helicopter 1 has the DART emit the 18 MHz signal, but no one on the ground can see the signal. Thankfully, that’s not an issue because Jeremiah is confident that they got all the data they needed.
Metal, Man (Skinwalker Ranch: Darting Around)
The next day. Mesa Drill Site. 9:14 AM.
Mark Construction has now made it past the 350-foot mark. That means they have just under 200 feet until they break through the top of the Mesa! At the spoils pit, Chris radios the team to tell them he has more magnetic materials. Weirdly, this round of materials is 85 feet past the last round of materials found.
Data Review
Three days later. Skinwalker Ranch Command Center. 11:36 AM.
Travis, Erik, Kaleb, Thomas, Jim, and Sam are joined via video call by Cameron and Jeremiah. Jeremiah shows the new readings from the experiment. We see powerful electromagnetic readings near The Triangle and high above The Bubble. Jeremiah says the readings they are seeing are typical for an overhead view of a bustling city — not a secluded ranch. It looks like there are clouds of energy that follow the path of Dry Gulch Creek!
Jeremiah pulls up a second set of data, this one is subsurface data. We see some tunnels of water deep below the Mesa. But we also see what appears to be two large voids, one of which is directly beneath the Mesa Drill Site.
Erik has a video from the South Tower, which shows a fast-flying object in the sky that has no visible contrail. Cameron doesn’t think it’s an aircraft, but the always eager Travis doesn’t seem too moved by this video. That’s until Erik pulls up a second (and third) video.
Erik’s second video shows an orb-like UAP flying past Helicopter 1. Its speed fluctuates, and it changes direction. A second angle of this UAP shows it flying past Helicopter 1 from nose to tail. There are no wings, which rules out birds or insects. Travis does a quick measurement and hypothesizes its speed at 1,200 feet per second!
Final Thoughts
Jeremiah’s data is very enlightening. I remember appreciating him when he was previously on the show because he seemed very down-to-earth, compared to some other ranch guests. Jeremiah is confident with his equipment and doesn’t seem like a person who would adjust data/how he speaks because a producer told him to. His data carries more weight than that of others who have been to the ranch.
Could there be tunnels of water below the Mesa? Based on what we’ve seen on Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch, which is just 20 miles away from Skinwalker Ranch, I don’t disbelieve it. Could Jeremiah’s void discovery mean the Mesa Drill Site is perfectly placed? Who knows. All I know is there are more mysteries to uncover until we get to The Secret…of Skinwalker Ranch.
