One of my favorite people in the world, Ricky Glore, is back with not just one, but two new movies to get excited about. Perhaps you saw Sweet Meats this past year during a Troma roadshow, or maybe you caught Glore’s first feature, All Your Friends Are Dead, on Tubi. Glore also co-hosts the Daddio podcast. Hell, maybe you don’t know him at all, and just thought a video interview/podcast is just what I need to take the edge off. To which I would ask, “Why are you on the edge?” To which you might reply, “Nevermind that, just show me a video,” and I would oblige.
However, if you don’t know Ricky’s work, you may be familiar with Eric M. Hunter, author of three novels: Kisses For Andrew, The Door in the Sky, and Grave Garden: All that and a Bag of Chip. Not to mention, Eric also hosts the #flashfiction podcast.

Or, perhaps you’re just a connoisseur of cinema and thought you might check in on the world of microbudget indie film. If that’s the case, I like your style! See, with the first part of this interview, it’s all about being Casually Cool and going with the flow. That’s also the name of the first of the two films that Ricky, Eric, and NKY Films producer Nicholas Hiance have teased.
Casually Cool is a Rockford Files and Mannix inspired detective comedy about a washed-up mermaid who now sleeps with the fishes. Join Sean, Ricky, and Eric as they discuss the new movie, the Indiegogo campaign, and veer off on tangents about comic books and other rabbit holes, all while laughing their asses off at each other over the silliest things. Learn which episode Bishop first appeared in an X-Men comic, or what cardboard cutout Eric’s mom took from a video store forty years ago, as well as hearing a brand new song by White Lighter that will set you up to come back tomorrow for part two: Truly Trudy.
A CASUALLY COOL conversation with Ricky Glore and Eric M. Hunter
25YL’s Sean Parker speaks with Writer/Director/Stand-Up Comedian Ricky Glore, and Author/Screenwriter Eric M. Hunter about collaborating on two new projects currently being funded on Indiegogo, and because it’s two movies, we’re doing a two-episode interview. First up, CASUALLY COOL, a Rockford Files and Mannix-inspired detective comedy about a washed-up mermaid who now sleeps with the fishes.
